EXETER: The Cosmopolitan Seniors will meet at 1 p.m. today in St. Anthony’s Center. Hosts and hostesses are Theresa Blasavage, Toni Hall, Kathy Loucks, Florence Stankoski and Ed Stankoski.

A trip is planned to Sands Casino on Nov. 14. Pick ups in Exeter and Pittston. Non-members welcome on trips. For details contact Johanna at 570-655-2720.

FALLS: The Falls Active Adult Center, state Route 92, is holding a masquerade party on Thursday.

There will be a Veteran’s Day lunch at 12:45 p.m. on Nov. 7 with special music from Stew Atkinson on saxophone, Ron Jackson on guitar and Carlene Howard on piano.

Gorden Travey, deputy warden, Wyoming County Correctional Facility, will give a presentation on his tour of duty in Afghanistan from 11:45 a.m. to noon on Nov. 8.

MINERS MILLS: The Miners Mills Community Club will meet at 1 p.m. on Nov. 7 at the Holy Trinity Russian Orthodox pavilion. Hostesses are Lydia Homick, Jack Hoover, Alice Jendrejeski and Vickie Kwiatkoski.

MOUNTAIN TOP: The Mountain Top Social Club will meet on Nov. 12 in the Father Nolan Hall day room at St. Jude Church. Doors will open at 3:30 p.m. New members are welcome. Bakers are Dolores Wark, Albina Yarrish and Grace Zarkesh.

PITTSTON: Members from St. Joseph’s Senior Social Club are attending the 11:30 a.m. Mass at St. Joseph Marello’s Church on All Saints Day, Friday. They will have lunch after the service at Perkins Restaurant. Call Theresa at 570-654-2967 with any questions.

WILKES-BARRE: The Firwood Senior Citizens will meet at 1 p.m. on Nov. 7 in the meeting room of the Firwood United Methodist Church, Old River Road and Dagobert Street. Refreshments will be served after the business meeting, which will be conducted by Tom Wahl, president.

The bus for the trip to Hunterdon Hills Playhouse Christmas Show on Nov. 13 will leave the church parking lot at 8:30 a.m. Non-members welcome on trips.

The Christmas party, chaired by Joyce Perez, will be held on Dec. 5 at R&D Memories, Fellows Avenue, Hanover Township.
