JACKSON TWP. — Two men wanted by Binghamton, N.Y., police were caught when township police investigated suspicious people selling frozen meat on Tuesday.

Police said they stopped Michael Christopher Corey, 34, and Zachary Anthony Zupancic, 34, both of Kirkwood, New York, after receiving reports they were selling frozen meat from a Ford Ranger pickup truck that had a New York license plate along Huntsville Road just before 5 p.m.

A records check showed Corey and Zupancic were wanted by Binghamton police.

Corey and Zupancic were arraigned Wednesday by District Judge Diana Malast in Plains Township on fugitive from justice charges and jailed at the Luzerne County Correctional Facility for lack of $25,000 bail each.
