WILKES-BARRE — A city man told police that “rules don’t apply to me” after being cited for trespassing at a pizza shop, according to police.

According to a police report:

Gregg Smith, 37, of Essex Lane, entered Pete’s Pizza, 159 Blackman St., at 10:30 p.m. Tuesday. An officer observed Smith enter the business after being advised he was not allowed on the premise by employees. Smith stated that “rules don’t apply to me.” He was advised to leave by the officer and charges for trespass were filed.
