Alec Baldwin needs to be stopped.
He’s become Public Enemy No. 1.
OK, so I’m exaggerating just a bit, but someone does need to teach the former 30 Rock star a lesson in bike etiquette.
In case you missed it, Baldwin was cited for disorderly conduct after getting a ticket for riding his bike against traffic in New York City on Tuesday. He then went on an Twitter rant filled with outrage over the incident.
Evidently, Baldwin doesn’t think traffic laws apply to him.
And, according to the New York Post, he was back at it again today, riding his bike on sidewalks and the wrong way in Manhattan.
Baldwin could be spokesman for those of us who ride our bikes for transportation. He could use some of his well-earned celebrity to promote responsible riding.
Instead, he chooses to be a poster boy for the worst kind of two-wheel rider.
I guess when he said, “I am God,” in the move Malice, he meant it.
At least, we can all benefit from the former A-lister’s example. We can see exactly how not to act when on two wheels.
