Some of the top cyclist in the state should be in Nicholson on Sunday for the Pennsylvania State Individual Time Trial Championships.

The event will feature competition in categories from Citizens/Cat 5 all the way up to Pro 1, 2, 3 for men and women.

The course is a 40-kilometer mostly flat out-and-back route.

And the best part is there is still time to register if you want to give the race a shot.

You can register at bikereg.com, but online registration closes at 11:45 p.m. tonight. Race-day registration opens at 7:3o a.m. and closes 15 minutes prior to start times.

The fee is $25, plus a $10 late registering fee, for most categories of racers.

I would do the race myself and probably walk away with a big-fat, first-place medal, but my bike needs a tune-up … Yeah, that’s the ticket.
