Along with their families, Lisa Rule and Eric Peterson happily announce their engagement and forthcoming marriage.
Lisa is the daughter of Janet Rule, West Nanticoke, Pa., and Stephen and Terri Rule, Harveys Lake, Pa.
The bride-to-be is a 1999 graduate of Bishop O’Reilly High School. She earned her Bachelor of Science degree in elementary education from The University of Scranton in 2003. She is also a 2006 graduate of Boston College, where she earned her master’s degree in educational and developmental psychology. She is employed as a teacher for Montgomery County Public Schools, Bethesda, Md.
Eric is the son of Richard and Rebecca Peterson, South Lake Tahoe, Calif., and Mike Scruggs and the late Mary Ann Scruggs, Homer, Alaska. He is a 2000 graduate of Homer High School and a 2005 graduate of the University of Alaska Fairbanks, where he earned a Bachelor of Science degree in computer science with a minor in mathematics. He is employed as a network security analyst for Secure Mission Solutions, Adelphi, Md.
The wedding will take place in April at the Lodge at Little Seneca Creek, Boyds, Md.
The couple resides in Silver Spring, Md.
