Jolly Joe (Alex Truszkowski), leader of Jolly Joe and His Bavarians, was
recently honored by the administration of Guardian Elder Care Center for his
30 years of service in bringing cheer and happiness to the residents. He and
his band have donated their outstanding music on many occasions throughout the

Mr. and Mrs. John `Yogi’ Jagodzinski were recently honored by the
administrative staff of Guardian Elder Care Center for their donation of
homemade potato pancakes and refreshments to all residents and staff at the
care center. The couple has been donating homemade food to the residents on a

The residents at Guardian Elder Care Center were recently entertained with
a variety of songs of their choosing by Jolly Joe and His Bavarians. The
Indoor Social also featured homemade potato pancakes and refreshments donated
by Mr. and Mrs. John `Yogi’ Jagodzinski. Volunteer Bernie Macijcak

Auxiliary, and Dorthy Hudak, co-chairperson, announce the auxiliary’s major
fund-raiser, the Fall Dinner Dance, will take place Oct. 23 at Alder Manor
Complex, Middle Road, Nanticoke. The public is invited for an evening of
