The Wyoming Valley West High School literary-arts magazine earned a silver
rating in the Pennsylvania School Press Association critique and a second
class rating in the National Scholastic Press Association critique. The
magazine was evaluated on design, writing, editing and the quality of artwork.
A limited number of magazines are still available for $2. Senior Lindsey
O’Brien earned silver ratings in the PSPA critique for two of her poems. The
judges commended O’Brien’s works for their creativity and originality.
Literary-arts magazine adviser Leslie Nicholas presents O’Brien with a plaque
commemorating her silver ratings.
