Summer Theatre at The Grove returned to the Nuangola Grove this weekend. Theatergoers were treated to “Comedy Tonight,” which will also be presented next weekend. Geisinger South Wilkes-Barre’s Emergency Department held a block party on Saturday near the hospital. The message was fun with a side of health, as attendees feasted on hamburgers and hot dogs, while information was available on summer safety. Also on Saturday, Kirby Park in Wilkes-Barre was the place to be for the Wilkes-Barre NAACP/Diversity Institute’s ninth annual Diversity Picnic.
