Children ages 6 to 9 are needed to dance as elves and/or as “stuffed’ kitties/doggies/bunnies in the upcoming production of “Christmas Toy Camp” slated for December 14-16 in the new Lemmond Theater at Misericordia University.
This production is in rehearsal now and is being presented by Northeast Youth Theatre Company.
Children will be required to attend approximately eight rehearsals and four performances.
Children need not have any experience; however, they should be able to take movement direction, enjoy dancing, work with the full cast of youth actors and love to perform. They will be required to attend eight rehearsals and four performances and parents will provide approved costuming.
“Christmas Toy Camp” is a fun musical theatre romp through the eyes of toys attending Toy Camp to learn how to be “good” toys in time for the holiday giving season.
The young dancers will dance along with Cool Cat to his hip routine, “Practice Makes Purrfect” or as elves with the puzzle pieces to “We Are Santa’s Elves.”
