Spaghetti Dinner, 4-6:30 p.m., Thursdays, St. Mary’s Antiochian Orthodox Church, church hall, 905 S. Main St., Wilkes-Barre. Pasta, salad, bread, dessert and beverage. Six different pastas and five sauces. $7 adults; $5 children 6-10.


Breakfast Buffet, 8-11 a.m. Feb. 8 and March 8, Huntsville United Methodist Church, 1233 Huntsville Road, Shavertown. Cost is $7. Seniors and children eat free. Eggs, toast, sausage, ham, pancakes, home fries and beverages.

Slow roasted pork loin, homemade pan gravy, Ukrainian kapusta (sweet and sour cabbage), real mashed potatoes, vegetable, applesauce, rolls, butter, dessert, coffee, tea and beverages. $13 adults; $6 children 6-12; free for children 5 and younger.
