Mercy Special Care attends party
Members and guests of Mercy Special Care Hospital, Nanticoke, recently
attended a Christmas party at the hospital’s cafeteria, hosted by the hospital
staff. Highlighting the affair was the presentation of a $10,000 check to
Robert Williams, hospital administrator, by Mercy Special Care Hospital’s
Auxiliary President Gloria Latze. Auxiliary officers are shown at the
presentation, from left: Dolores Floryshak, treasurer; Irene Warkomski,
president elect; Williams, Latze, Teresa Yadock, corresponding secretary;
Bernadine Aukiewicz, recording secretary; and Stanley Olszewski, Jr., vice
president.
Altar and Rosary Society enjoys party
The Altar and Rosary Society of St. Nicholas Church, South Washington
Street, Wilkes-Barre, recently held its annual Christmas Party, at Genetti’s
Hotel and Convention Center, Wilkes-Barre. Shown, seated, from left: Eleanor
