Pamela Bernardoni and Jonathan Serniak, together with their families, announce their engagement and upcoming marriage.
The bride-to-be is the daughter of Richard and Alberta Bernardoni, Luzerne. She is the granddaughter of the late Albert and Christine Gregor, West Wyoming, and the late Junius and Marie Bernardoni, Swoyersville.
The prospective groom is the son of Carl and Joyce Decker, South Gibson. He is the grandson of Sonia Baldwin and the late Joseph Baldwin, Mayfield, and Joseph Decker and the late Kaywood Decker, Kingsley.
The bride-to-be is a 2004 graduate of Wyoming Valley West High School and 2010 graduate of Wilkes-Barre Career and Technical Center Practical Nursing Program. She is employed as a licensed practical nurse by Geisinger Health System.
The prospective groom is a 2001 graduate of Mountain View High School. He served in the United States Army as a military police officer and was honorably discharged in 2006. He is pursuing his education in computer aided drafting and design at Luzerne County Community College.
The couple will exchange vows June 15, 2013, at the Inne of the Abingtons, Dalton, with an outdoor ceremony followed by a cocktail hour and reception.
