Frances C. Klimek, 81, of South Empire Street, Wilkes-Barre, died Monday
morning at her home.
    She was born in Wilkes-Barre, January 20, 1923, a daughter of the late
Stanley and Anna Pavloski. She attended G.A.R. Memorial High School. She was a
member of Holy Trinity Church, East South Street, Wilkes-Barre. Prior to her
retirement, she had been employed for many years at the RCA Corporation in
Mountaintop.
   
She was preceded in death by her husband, Joseph J. Klimek, in 1994;
sisters, Genevieve Sedorovich and Theresa Tapacjik; brothers, Anthony Pavloski
and Joseph Barron.
   
Surviving are sons, Robert Klimek, and his wife, Joan, Feasterville; Dr.
Joseph J. Klimek, Farmington, CT; daughter, Nancie Flynn, and her husband,
James, Harveys Lake; three grandchildren, Robert Jr., Brian and Adam Klimek;
two great-grandchildren, Matthew and Samantha Klimek; and nieces and nephews.
   
Funeral services will be held Thursday morning at 9 a.m. from the Nat &
Gawlas Funeral Home, Park Avenue and South Streets, Wilkes-Barre, with a
Funeral Mass at 9:30 a.m. in Holy Trinity Church, with Rev. Theodore L. Obaza,
Pastor, officiating. Interment will be in the Parish Cemetery, Bear Creek.
   
Friends may call Wednesday from 5 to 8 p.m.
   
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Holy Trinity
Church, 416 East South Street, Wilkes-Barre, PA 18702.
