Miriam Cholewa
July 23, 1994
Miriam L. Cholewa, of Railroad Street, Alden, Newport Township, died
Saturday afternoon at her home following an illnessBorn in Bronx, N.Y., on
Dec. 1, 1945 she was a daughter of Nicholas and Hattie Wolfe Noy of Alden.
She attended Nanticoke schools and was employed by RCA, General Electric
and Harris Semi-Conductor, Mountaintop.
She was a member of the Holy Resurrection Orthodox Church, Alden.
In addition to her parents, she is survived by husband, Leonard; son
Leonard A., Nanticoke; two grandchildren; brother Nicholas Jr., Austin Texas.
Funeral services will be at 10 a.m. Tuesday from the Williams Funeral Home,
114 West Main St., Plymouth, with the Father David Shewczyk, officiating.
Interment will be in the parish cemetery, Alden.
Friends may call from 2 to 4 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m. Monday.
A Parastas service will be held at 7:30 p.m. Monday.
