LEWISBURG — Holy Redeemer’s Kelsey Willaims won a silver medal in diving at the Class 2A PIAA State Swimming and Diving Championships at Bucknell University today.
Willaims finished with 399.35 points, finishing just 7.35 points behind McKenzie Stelter, who won the gold.
Williams is the first diving medalist in the history of Holy Redeemer.
Other local swimmers who have already assured themselves of medals with their performances in preliminary action are Dallas’ 200-yard freestyle relay team, Tunkhannock’s Ben Spencer in the 200 IM, Dallas’ Brian Stepniak in the 100 freestyle and Crestwood’s Josh Grezch in the 100 butterfly.
