INSIDE SCOOP

TODAY
Do you like Christmas specials? Unless your name is Ebenezer, of course you do.
Well, today is your lucky day.
Starting at 7 a.m., ABC Family will pack its schedule with a day’s worth of animated specials. Highlights include the heartwarming “Little Drummer Boy” at 9 a.m.; the mice who save the holiday in ’Twas the Night Before Christmas,” at 4 p.m.; and Heat Miser and Snow Miser do their best impression of a Vegas lounge act in “The Year Without a Santa Claus,” at 7 p.m.

TONIGHT
Speaking of people named Ebenezer … Find yourself some miserable gruel, gather up your three favorite ghosts and check out a reading of Charles Dickens’ “A Christmas Carol” at the Electric Theatre Company, 326 Spruce St., Scranton. Tonight’s show starts at 8 p.m. There’s another tomorrow at 3 p.m. if you’re more of a day person.

TOMORROW
Three words: Football, football, football! No, not that European soccer stuff. Real, red-blooded, flag-waving American football! The Steelers and Giants both have tough road divisional matchups Sunday. The Steelers face the Ravens at 4 p.m., and the Giants head off to Dallas in the night game. Viewer discretion advised.
