A NEWS REPORT published on Page 11A Friday requires clarification. According to the Public Utility Commission, Carl Kresge, owner of W.P. Water Co. Inc., has never filed for a rate increase with the PUC for either the water or the wastewater company. PUC spokeswoman Jennifer Kocher said an allegation that the PUC is “unwilling to allow” a rate increase is incorrect.
