Ice still covers much of Harveys Lake, but it is beginning to disappear near the shoreline — a sure sign that spring is here and warmer weather is just ahead. That's what might make today's forecast of some light snow possible this afternoon and evening all the harder to swallow. Today's high temperature could reach 38 and tonight's low could dip down to 22. Wednesday will be even colder, with a high of 29 and a low of 13, before temperatures begin to climb again. Temperatures are expected to climb into the 40s on Thursday and into the 50s this weekend.
