The rain held off for most of the weekend, but it looks like the Wyoming Valley will get another dose of April showers this week.
The National Weather Service indicated that it was 37 degrees at 7:54 a.m. at the Wilkes-Barre/Scranton International Airport. Clouds made for a gray morning commute, but it was an otherwise quiet Monday morning.
Mostly cloudy skies are expected today, with rain likely after 4 p.m. A 60 percent chance of rain is predicted, with between a tenth and quarter of an inch expected. Today’s high is expected to climb near 50 degrees.
Rain is expected once again tonight, with the low only dropping to 47 degrees. Between a quarter and a half an inch of rain is possible.
