Lackawanna State Park in Dalton will host Winterfest on Saturday, Feb. 6.

Several outdoor activities are planned.

The schedule is as follows: 10 a.m., Winter Bird Walk with Meg Hatch and Rob Smith; 10:45 a.m. and 1:30 p.m., Live Birds of Prey with Rebecca Lesko from Endless Mountains Nature Center; 11 a.m. to 3 p.m., horse-drawn wagon rides by Spring Hills Farm, Snow Shoe Loans presentation with Lackawanna State Park manager Dustin Drew, a food stand with proceeds benefiting Lackawanna State Park education programs, kids crafts, and Warming Fires for marshmallows; 11:30 a.m. and 3 p.m., Intro to Ice Fishing with the Abington Sportsmen Club by Bob Kester; noon, Ice Safety/Ice Rescue presentation with Scott Dive Company; 12:45 p.m., Animal Tracking with Gregg Gondella; and 2:15 p.m., Know your Needles Hike with forester Jerry Kelly.

All programs are free and the public is invited.
