Bayada Nurses will introduce the community and local health care professionals to the benefits of pediatric home care at a Grand Opening Ceremony on Wednesday, March 31 from 4 to 6:30 p.m. The event will take place at the Bayada Nurses office at 233 Northern Blvd., Suite 5A, Clarks Summit, and Lackawanna County Commissioner Corey O’Brien will start the event with a ribbon cutting. “We understand that nothing is more important than the health and wellbeing of a child,” said Bayada Nurses Office Director Kate Obert. “The home environment is where children want to be and having care take place at home allows them the comfort of staying close to their family and friends.”

Bayada Nurses provides a broad range of family-centered services for children from newborn through adolescence. Pediatric nursing services include short-term care like follow-up after an early discharge from the hospital and long-term care for a chronic illness or disability. Skilled pediatric nurses manage diverse diagnoses and high-tech equipment like tracheostomies and ventilators.

“Bayada Nurses only hires nurses who share in our commitment to deliver care with compassion, excellence, and reliability—our core values,” said Obert. For more information about Bayada Nurses, call 570.587.8000.
