A tractor-trailer was struck by a Delaware & Hudson locomotive hauling a train on Canadian Pacific rail lines at a crossing on Oak Street in Pittston Township on Monday afternoon. Firefighters responded to the crash at about 1:10 p.m. No injuries were reported. It was not immediately known if the crossing arms were down as the train was passing. The locomotive pushed the tractor-trailer about 100 feet before it came to a stop. A road sign on Oak Street prohibits tractor-trailers in excess of 28 feet from passing over the railroad crossing.
