The Lackawanna County Commissioners presented representatives from the Lackawanna Historical Society/Catlin House with a check for $3,200, which covered a portion of the cost for replacing the facility's furnace. The Lackawanna County Commissioners presented representatives from the Lackawanna Historical Society/Catlin House with a check for $3,200, which covered a portion of the cost for replacing the facility’s furnace.


It was important for the Catlin House to replace its boiler to protect the historical collections, artifacts, and displays in the building. To date, the Commissioners have funded 38 projects totally $558,064 through the Community Re-Invest Program.
