SCRANTON — Couples celebrating their 25th or 50th year of marriage will participate in the Diocese of Scranton’s Wedding Anniversary Celebration this Sunday.

The celebration will be held at the Cathedral of Saint Peter in Scranton. The Most Reverend Joseph C. Bambera, D.D., J.C.L., Bishop of Scranton, will celebrate a mass where 214 couples will renew their wedding vows.

After Mass, the Diocese will host a reception for the couples at Saint Mary’s Center at 320 Mifflin Ave, Scranton.

The celebration is being organized by the Diocesan Office for Parish Life. The Mass will be broadcast live by CTV: Catholic Television of the Diocese of Scranton.
