SCRANTON — The Northeastern Pennsylvania Health Care Foundation announced it will start accepting grant applications from nonprofit organizations for health and wellness oriented projects serving Lackawanna, Luzerne and Wyoming counties.

Nonprofit organizations from the three counties are invited to apply. To be considered, a letter of intent must be submitted by Sept. 1.

The foundation is also offering a $50,000 grant to organizations trying to address the lack of dental care for economically disadvantaged patients.

Projects must be in-line with the health care foundation’s mission. Call the foundation at 570-347-6203 for more information.
