It’s looking like another great weekend in the Wyoming Valley.
The National Weather Service indicated that it was 63 degrees as of 6:54 a.m. Sunshine was accompanied by a light cloud cover.
There will be a slight chance of showers and thunderstorms after noon today — otherwise, mostly sunny skies are expected. Today’s high will reach the mid 80s. That slight chance for rain and thunderstorms will stretch over into tonight, but clear skies are once again predicted. Tonight’s low will drop to the upper 50s.
Sunny skies will stick around for Saturday, followed by clear skies on Saturday night. The high on Saturday will be in the mid 80s, while the low on Saturday night will be in the upper 50s.
Sunny skies will once again be the trend for Sunday, with a high in the mid 80s. Clouds will move back into the Wyoming Valley on Sunday night, along with a slight chance of showers. Sunday night’s low will be in the lower 60s.
