LA PLUME — Artist and art educator Richard Huck will lecture from 2:15 to 3:15 p.m. on Thursday, March 5 in the Theatre in Brooks at the campus of Keystone College. The event, sponsored by Keystone’s Art Department, is free and open to the public.

Huck will discuss his career in art education and what it means to be an artist. He was a high school art teacher for 40 years before retiring in 2013. As an artist-illustrator, his work has been exhibited throughout the nation and abroad, including New York, Los Angeles, Paris, and Amsterdam, Australia and Japan.

He is a signature status member of the Colored Pencil Society of America and his works have been published in numerous books and periodicals, including Art in America, the Artist’s Magazine, the Philadelphia Inquirer and the Society of Illustrator’s Annual.
