ASHLEY — State police are investigating the one-vehicle crash which claimed the life of Angelique Wolfe Thursday afternoon, and left two others injured, one seriously.
Troopers say driver Debra Paolucci lost control of the Chevrolet Tracker and it flipped into the grass along the off ramp at Exit 165B of Interstate 81. Wolfe was ejected from the vehicle and pronounced dead at Geisinger Wyoming Valley Medical Center in Plains Township, state police said.
According to a news release, the second passenger, David Paolucci, was the only person in the vehicle wearing a seat belt at the time of the accident, and he escaped with only minor injuries.
State police said the three occupants, all of Sugar Notch, were transported to the hospital by ambulance before troopers arrived on scene.
