TUNKHANNOCK — Children’s Service Center will hold a ribbon-cutting ceremony, open to the public, at noon on Aug. 4 at its Tunkhannock campus, 133 Tioga St., to mark the grand opening of an office suite that will provide a specialized therapy known as Parent-Child Interaction Therapy. Refreshments will be provided.

PCIT, one of CSC’s fastest growing therapy services, is an evidence-based program for children ages 2 to 7 and their parents or caregivers. Its two primary goals are to enhance a positive relationship between caregiver and child and to promote effective behavior management and discipline techniques.

Anyone planning to attend the ribbon-cutting ceremony or wanting more information on PCIT should call 570-836-2722.
