Children will also receive a Reading Readiness Assessment, which is an assessment of pre-reading skills, consisting of two parts: identifying letters of the alphabet and phonemic awareness assessment.

Parents may save up to 30 minutes on registration day by pre-registering prior to registration days by downloading a registration packet that may be obtained from the school’s website at www.pittstonarea.com or by picking up a packet at any district building. Completed registration packets and copies of required documentation must be returned to any district building by Monday, March 2. For more information, call 570-655-3785, ext. 4, during school hours.
