Wilkes University juniors Christian Victoria, Marrisa Bartorillo and Tristram Ford, members of the Christian Fellowship Club, man a kettle for the Salvation Army in the Henry Student Center on Monday. Zebra Communications, the university’s students-run public relations agency, is continuing its red kettle competition ‘Compete for Change’ from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. on the first floor of the student union building through Friday to help the local Salvation Army raise money during the holiday season. Zebra hopes a performance today by the university choral club, as well as a separate holiday-themed karaoke event on Friday, will help attract students’ attention to the good cause. Zebra raised just less than half its $1,000 goal last week with the help of competing on-campus groups and organizations.
