The Presbyterian Church of Mountain Top announced this schedule for the
week: Monday — women’s club meeting, 7:30 p.m. Tuesday — session meeting,
7:30 p.m. Wednesday — Presbyterian Women meeting, 10 a.m.; deacons meeting,
7:15 p.m. Thursday — Welcome Club meeting, noon to 3 p.m.; Brownies meeting,
6 p.m.; Lenten service light meal, 6:15 p.m., followed by a service in the
sanctuary; choir rehearsal, 7:30 p.m.
PLAINS TWP. – As part of National Salute to Hospitalized Veterans Week, a
program will be held at the Department of Veterans Affairs Medical Center main
lobby at 2 p.m. Sunday.
Attorney Tom Munley will be the guest speaker. He served in the Army during
the Vietnam War and received a Bronze Star, Army Commendation Medal and
Vietnam Service Cross. Munley has produced several television programs
highlighting local veterans.
