PLYMOUTH TWP. — District Judge David Barilla swore in township Supervisor Joseph Yudichak and Tax Collector Leonard Bartosiewicz, both for four-year terms, at Monday’s board of supervisors reorganization meeting.
Yudichak will continue as the head supervisor of the Roads Department. Bartosiewicz’s 3 percent commission will remain unchanged from last year.
Supervisor Chair Gale Conrad and Vice Chair Christine Kachurak were re-appointed to their positions.
Steve Grzymski was re-appointed administrator/treasurer/right-to-know officer. Attorney Robert Zaruto will continue as the township’s solicitor.
Other appointments included: Barry Isett and Associates, code enforcement officer; Ronald Demchak, zoning officer/building inspector; Wayne Wolfe, floodplain administrator; Robert Dunn, Emergency Management Agency coordinator; Tom Kachurak, representative to the West Side Landfill Authority; and Ray Evarts, road master.
Berkheimer Associates has been appointed as collector of the Earned Income Tax at a commission of 1.485 percent. Berkheimer has also been named as the township’s Business Privilege, Delinquent Per Capita, Local Services, Mechanical Devices Tax Collector at a 3 percent commission.
The supervisors have voted that the township will remain one district.
PNC Bank, the PA Local Government Investment Trust and Franklin Security Bank have been chosen for the depository of Township funds.
The next board meeting will be Feb. 3 at 6 p.m.
