LEHMAN TWP. — The Lake-Lehman School Board on Monday approved a change to the district’s yearly calendar due to the five snow days already used this year.

The changes will begin as soon as Jan. 20, an early-release day that has been changed to a full day for students.

In other business, Tom Rainey, the district’s auditor, presented the results of the yearly audit to the board. Rainey said the district experienced “a lot of additional local source revenue.” He said this will result in a $637,000 surplus at the end of the fiscal year.

Rainey also said that because of positive audit results the district qualified for a federal designation as a “low-risk auditee.”

The board accepted the resignation of both the boys and girls volleyball coaches and will advertise for those positions as well as for head boys and girls lacrosse coaching positions.

The board’s next meeting will be Feb. 10 at 7 p.m. in the Junior-Senior High School library.
