WILKES-BARRE — Two men robbed the G&G XPress Mart at the intersection of Academy Street and Carey Avenue, Wilkes-Barre, and fired off two rounds inside the store shortly before 6 p.m. Saturday.

No one was injured and the men fled on foot with an undetermined amount of cash, police said.

Police retrieved a shell casing at the base of a rack containing potato chips after WNEP-TV freelance cameraman Royce Sallstrom noticed it while shooting video from outside the store through a window.

Police described the suspects as in their early to mid 20s, medium build and height and one had facial hair. One of the suspects wore a gray hooded top and the other wore hooded top that was either orange or red.

Police were unsure of the races of the suspects and whether both were armed. Both suspects should be considered armed and dangerous, police said.
