The boroughs of Exeter and Wyoming will be enforcing an overnight parking ban along Wyoming Avenue from midnight tonight until 8 a.m. Wednesday, Exeter Mayor Cassandra Coleman and Wyoming Mayor Bob Boyer announced today.

Both borough police departments ask those who haven’t done so already to move their vehicles off of Wyoming Avenue beginning at 10 p.m. this evening. Vehicles that are not removed from the roadway during the parking ban will be subject to ticketing and towing, the mayors said.

Residents in both communities are asked to make every effort to remove vehicles from side streets and utilize their driveways to assist Department of Public Works crews with snow removal from streets. Shoveling or blowing snow into the roadway is strictly prohibited.

Snow emergency parking restrictions also are in effect on side streets in both boroughs. Vehicles on side streets should be parked on the odd-numbered side of the streets to assist DPW crews with snow removal.
