Karen Yarrish, Ph.D., has been named the Vice President for Strategic Planning and Human Resources at Keystone College.
Yarrish will be the principal officer providing leadership for implementation of the college’s strategic plan and will supervise the Human Resources Department.
A human resources professional for more than 14 years and a professor in higher education for 23 years, Yarrish began her career at Keystone in 1998 as an assistant professor. She’s served as chair of Keystone’s School of Business, Management, and Technology.
Yarrish is active in the community, serving on the boards of Maternal Family Health Services and the Northeastern Pennsylvania Society for Human Resources Management. She volunteers with Blue Chip Farms Animal Rescue in Dallas Pa.
Yarrish received a bachelor of science degree in business administration from King’s College, a master of science degree in human resources administration from the University of Scranton, and a doctorate degree in workforce education and development from Pennsylvania State University. She currently resides in Kingston Township, with her husband, Craig.
