The KRW Foundation is a charity founded in memory of Jeremy Kelleher, Joseph Ralicke, and Michael Wilding, three dear friends and fellow graduates of the Dunmore High School Class of 1998. The KRW Foundation is dedicated to supporting local charities that target youth and community development in Northeastern Pennsylvania and is a public, non-profit [501(c)(3)] . The CAC/NEPA is a private, non-profit, charitable organization [501(c)(3)] whose mission is to provide excellence in the assessment and treatment of child/teen victims of abuse and neglect. All proceeds from the event will go to the KRW Foundation first and then directly benefit the Children’s Advocacy Center.

The “Party with the Pros” event features former Major League Baseball stars and members of the 1980 World Series Champion Philadelphia Phillies, Greg “The Bull” Luzinski, Major League Baseball all-time hit leader Pete Rose and former Phillies head coach Dallas Green. Guests will have an opportunity to get autographs, take pictures and interact with these former baseball greats while enjoying beer, wine and catered food generously provided by local restaurants; Carl Von Luger Steak & Seafood Restaurant, Russell’s Restaurant, Andy Gavin’s Eatery & Pub, Hilton Scranton & Conference Center, Stirna’s Restaurant & Bar, What the Fork Food Truck, Arcaro and Genell, Zuppa Delgiorno, Ragnacci’s, Samarios, Revellos and more.

The VIP event for $100, features an additional intimate cocktail party with the players from 5-6 p.m. and admittance into the 6-9 p.m event as well. The general admission portion of the event will feature a special “Centerstage Experience” hosted by the voice of the Scranton/Wilkes-Barre Railriders, John Saydak. The interactive Q & A will feature some great personal stories and anecdotes from the “Pro’s” playing days.

“This year, we had the opportunity to find out what the Children’s Advocacy Center does to help children and families of Northeastern Pennsylvania, and once you learn about the organization, you just feel the need to help,” KRW Foundation vice president and event organizer Tom Kelly said. “The KRW Foundation, being founded out of love for the Dunmore High School friends we lost, knows that the Children’s Advocacy Center will use this funding to make the biggest impact on the lives of local children.

“We know that Jeremy Kelleher, Joseph Ralicke, and Michael Wilding are looking down on us with big smiles,” he said.

“We are so pleased and honored that the members of the KRW Foundation chose the CAC to be the benefactor for their annual ‘Party with the Pros’ event this year,” CAC executive director Mary Ann LaPorta said. “Their admirable work helping children in the region in memory of their friends inspires all of us at the CAC to raise our game to the next level. The common thread between our organizations is the children we serve.

“The KRW Foundation’s generosity will never be forgotten or go unnoticed from this day forward, we are excited to help using our staff and volunteers to make this a very successful and well received event and we hope all can make some time to come out on March 29,” he said.
