Police confirmed that the suspect in this morning’s stabbing at Mondelez International in the Hanover Industrial Park was taken into custody on Church Street, Larksville.


He was brought to the Hanover Township municipal building on Sans Souci Parkway.


When the suspect got out of the cruiser, he said, “How are you doing boys. Don’t ever fall in love with a married woman.”


The suspect was shirtless, wearing shorts and his toenails were painted pink as he was taken into the building.


Police have not released the suspect’s name.

HANOVER TWP. — Township police are investigating a stabbing inside Mondelez International in the Hanover Industrial Estates, prompting a lock down at the Hanover Area Junior/Senior High School and Hanover Green Elementary School Thursday morning.


Luzerne County 911 said a “domestic incident” occurred inside the Mondelez corporate office on New Commerce Boulevard. Security were not allowing employees to enter the parking lot directing them to an alternate location at 7:30 a.m.


State police forensic services unit are at Mondelez.


911 issued a BOLO - Be On Look Out - to area police departments for a white Subaru Pennsylvania license plate GMB-3413 with a caution that the suspect may be armed with a knife.


School officials locked down the high school and Hanover Green Elementary as a precaution.
