PHILADELPHIA (AP) — Authorities have charged a second woman in the death of a woman authorities say was found handcuffed, stabbed and shot in a Philadelphia park over an $800 debt.

The body of 26-year-old Toy Charda Bryant was found face-down Tuesday morning in Fairmount Park with multiple stab wounds and a gunshot wound to the back of the head.

Homicide Capt. James Clark said Bryant was abducted in Chester, tortured on the ride to Philadelphia and killed in the park.

Police said 39-nine-year-old Shavon Armstrong of Wilkes-Barre, also known as Palliadium Smith, was arrested over the weekend. Twenty-eight-year-old Shintele Smith was arrested Tuesday.

Both women, who police said had been friends of the victim, are charged with murder, criminal conspiracy, kidnapping, robbery and other counts. It’s unclear whether they have attorneys.
