WILKES-BARRE — After deliberating for almost four hours Monday, a Luzerne County jury convicted a Hazleton man of second-degree murder.

Breon Judon, 20, was convicted of the murder charge, robbery, kidnapping and three counts of criminal conspiracy in the August 2012 death of Aaron Reznick.

County Judge Richard Hughes said Judon will be sentenced on Dec. 9. He faces life in prison.

Prosecutors say Judon and Mitchell Dedes, 18, robbed Reznick of an iPhone, ordered him to strip and get into the trunk of his car on Aug. 3, 2012.

While driving around Hazleton, Reznick got out of the trunk. That’s when, prosecutors say, Dedes and Judon kicked and stomped Reznick repeatedly.

Reznick died nine days later at Lehigh Valley Hospital due to injuries he sustained.
