GEORGE MORGAN
   
October 6, 1998
    George L. Morgan, of Blue Bell Court, Exeter, died Tuesday at home.
   
Born and reared in Pittston, he was the son of the late August and Mary
Lockhart Morgan.
   
He was a graduate of Pittston High School. He lived in New Jersey for many
years until returning to the area three years ago.
   
He was employed as a manager for General Motors for 23 years, and also for
Pharmical Co. Fieser, Ruthford, N.J., for two years.
   
He was a U.S. Army veteran of World War II.
   
He was a member of St. Cecilia’s Church, Exeter.
   
Surviving are his wife of 38 years, Mary Elaine Lombardo, formerly of
Pittston; son, Anthony Morgan, Highland, N.J.; daughters, Deborah Cancuffe,
Flanders, N.J.; Michelle Pilone, Basking Ridge, N.J.; four grandchildren; and
brothers, John Morgan, Ohio; Joseph Morgan, Hatboro; William Morgan, Michael
Morgan and Paul Morgan, all of Pittston.
   
Funeral services will be at 9 a.m. Friday from the Adonizio Funeral Home
Inc., 251 William St., Pittston, with a Mass of Christian Burial at 9:30 a.m.
at St. Cecilia’s Church, Wyoming Avenue, Exeter.
   
Interment will be in St. Mary’s Cemetery, Hanover Township.
   
Friends may call from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. today.
