Pens to show games
The Pittsburgh Penguins will show road games on Mellon Arena’s large scoreboard screens during the Stanley Cup finals.
The Penguins have attracted thousands of fans to big-screen telecasts of games outside the arena. That will continue during home games, but not when the Penguins play in Detroit.
Fans must buy $5 tickets to enter the arena to watch the away games. The money will go to the Mario Lemieux Foundation, which benefits cancer and neonatal medical research. Parking at arena lots will be free after 6 p.m. Concession and souvenir stands will be open.
