WILKES-BARRE — Steve Stravinski scored 15 points for the Wilkes University men’s basketball team on Tuesday night, but it wasn’t enough as the Colonels dropped a 51-47 decision to DeSales in Freedom Conference action.

The Colonels trailed 24-20 at the half and that turned out to be the difference maker as both teams matched scores in the second half, 27-27.

Steve Stravinski was the only Colonel to score in double digits for Wilkes (8-15), which will host King’s (13-11) on Saturday.
