LEHMAN TWP. — Shoshana Mahoney scored her second goal of the game in the final minute of the first overtime to give Lake-Lehman a 3-2 victory over Berwick in Wyoming Valley Conference girls soccer Wednesday.


Julia Hutsko assisted the score. Mahoney also scored midway through the opening half off an assist by Emily Sutton. Sutton scored early in the second half off an assist by Mahoney.


Gabby Kishbaugh and Brianna Floryshak scored for Berwick.


BOYS SOCCER


Crestwood 6, Wyoming Valley West 1


Casey Ritsick scored two goals and had one assist in the Comets victory. John Andrews had two goals to contribute to the win.


Mike Bazadona scored the only goal for Spartans.


Hazleton Area 2, Holy Redeemer 0


Shane Jordan scored both goals for the Cougars in a shutout victory.


Josh Wychock had 11 saves in the net for the Royals.


FIELD HOCKEY


Pittston Area 2, GAR 1


Behind one goal apiece from Alana Platukus and Katrinia Mikitish the Grenadiers defeated the Patriots.


Brea Seabrook scored in the effort for Pittston Area.


Meyers 6, Elk Lake 1


Bri DiMaggio totaled four goals in the Meyers win.


Allison Berman contributed two scores as well to the win.


Tunkhannock 2, Berwick 0


Marley Mason and Haylee Underwood totaled one score each for the Tunkhannock win.


Maggie Johns contributed one assist.


Northwest 2, Hanover Area 2


The Hawkeyes scored two first half goals after being down 1-o, but the bout would end in a tie.


Olivia Magnia and Michaela Weber scored for Northwest while Brittany McNair and Brexy Pena each scored for Hanover Area.

Audrey Hiedacavage totaled 16 assists to lead Wyoming Area wo wins 25-19, 25-7, 25-15.


Jess Sorick contributed seven service points.


Coughlin’s effort was led by 11 asssists from Arianna Warnagiri.

The Cougars won by scores of 25-7, 25-18, 25-14.


Kirsten Durling led the Patriots’ effort with 9 assists.
