Aside from a few areas of congestion, commuters in the Wyoming Valley should have little trouble getting back into the office this morning.

Free-flowing traffic is reported on Interstates 81 and 476. Some scattered, minor traffic congestion is reported on Route 115 in the area of East Mountain Boulevard. On Route 315, heavy congestion is reported near the on-ramp to the North Cross Valley Expressway.

The North Cross Valley Expressway is free of congestion, but some could be encountered on the off-ramps.

Areas of heavy congestion are reported on Kidder Street and on Highland Park Boulevard. Scattered areas of minor congestion are reported on Coal and East Northampton streets.

Some scattered areas of minor and heavier congestion are reported on various streets in the downtown area. Affected streets include:

• Wilkes-Barre / South Wilkes-Barre Boulevard

• Hazle Street

• North / South River streets

• East Market Street

In Kingston, scattered areas of minor congestion are reported on Market Street and Wyoming Avenue.
