WILKES-BARRE — Police said a city man who reportedly performed a sex act in public downtown was arrested late Friday night.
Officers were dispatched to the area of 40 W. Northampton St. just before 11 p.m. Friday for a report of an intoxicated male with his pants open. Police said they found John Strunk, 20, of South Grant Street who was highly intoxicated. He reportedly had been in the immediate area and performed a sex act on himself in full view of patrons of a downtown establishment, police said. Strunk was arrested and taken to police headquarters and later transferred to the Luzerne County Correctional Facility for an overnight arraignment, police said.
