WILKES-BARRE — Officers responded to a domestic dispute on Mill Street just after 7 p.m. Sunday and arrested a man on several charges.
Police allege that Christopher David Sierra, 28, of Wilkes-Barre, choked his wife and threatened her and a neighbor with a firearm. Sierra was still at the residence and in possession of the firearm when they arrived, police said.
Sierra was taken into custody without incident and charged with three felony counts of aggravated assault and three misdemeanor counts each of terroristic threats, simple assault and recklessly endangering another person.
He was arraigned before District Judge Diana Malast in Plains Township and, unable to post $75,000 bail, jailed at the Luzerne County Correctional facility to await his preliminary hearing, scheduled for 10 a.m. Aug. 6 before District Judge Martin Kane in Wilkes-Barre.
