MONROE TWP. — State police at Tunkhannock arrested Ernest Smith, 55, of Dallas, with discharging a firearm at another person inside a Wyoming County residence on Thursday.
Smith was charged with aggravated assault and reckless endangerment. He was jailed at the Wyoming County Prison for lack of $25,000 bail.
State police allege Smith discharged a shotgun at another man during an argument inside a residence on Freeman Lane, Monroe Township, at about 6:50 a.m.
Alcohol was involved in the incident, state police said.
State police reported no injuries.
